Registration Information

Kid Camp will be held at Campbell's Ceramics in Corbin starting May 18th. Class hours will be on Mondays at 10 to 12 or 1 to 3. If you are interested in participating in the workshop, please email us at intowntailoring@gmail.com 

In this workshop, you will learn:

• How to use a sewing machine, 
• The different parts and what they do, how to fix them when they break and what not to do to keep them from breaking. 
• The difference in fabrics, what type of fabric to use for each type of project 
• The difference in needle sizes, thread types, and patterns and how and when to use them 
•  What is a Notion and what do they do. 
• How to measure yourself to get the proper pattern size 
• How to read the pattern instructions, 
• Sewing terms like salvage, notches and standard practices and what they mean. 
• You will practice sewing straight and curved lines with a machine 
• While learning all this you will follow a pattern and create a simple elastic waistband skirt or shorts. 

This class fee is $45.00 per participant and class space is limited.
