How Rentals will work
Find the dress
Browse the dresses at the Rent A Dress website, add the ones you are interested in trying on to your cart.
Each dress has a rental price and a purchase price. The rental price is a percentage of the purchase price, plus a dry-cleaning fee to prepare the dress for its next event.
Once you have selected all the dresses that interest you, click Book Appointment. This will open a separate browser window where you can create a profile and book an appointment to come try on the dresses.
Select Rent A Dress, and this will bring up the inventory list. You can toggle between the browser windows to help remember which dresses you want to see. Remember, all the dresses are located in our London Branch, so choose this one for your location.
At the try on appointment, if you find a dress you want to rent, you will be charged a Deposit Fee of the Sale price, plus the dry cleaning fee ($40) and sales tax.
When you return the dress in good condition, you will be refunded the difference between the total originally charged and the rental price plus dry cleaning fee and sales tax.
Book the Dates you need
Each rental will have a four (4) day rental period. For instance, if your event is on a Saturday, you will pick it up Friday and have until Monday to return it, we understand parties happen around the world, so if you need more time for an out-of-town event, we will certainly work with you. When the dress is returned in useable condition by the agreed upon return date, the credit card on file will be refunded the difference between the rental fee plus dry cleaning ($40) and the deposit price. If you don't return the dress or the dress is damaged beyond reasonable dry cleaning, you will be charged the repair costs or the entire amount for purchase depending on the situation. Likewise, if you don't return the dress by the 5th day, we will consider it purchased and no refund will be given.
Receiving and returning the dress
When the big day comes, you can come to the store and pick it up.
If you haven't returned the dress by the 5th day or the dress is damaged beyond reasonable dry cleaning, you will either not receive a refund or you will receive the difference between the repairs and the deposit price as well.
It's that simple.
Late Returns
We understand that sometimes situations arise that may cause a problem to return the dress on the agreed upon date, however, this should be the exception, not the normal, so to ensure that every effort is made to return the dress as promised (someone else may be waiting) a $50 a day late fee will be assessed for every day past the agreed upon return date.
